He had been wanting to see what all this PvP nonsense was about for a while now. Apparently the premise of it was that you challenged another player to a sort of duel, and from there you just fought each other with your various abilities. It would be a lie to say that this was something that didn't excite him to a great degree. So he had been wandering around the Player Kill zones exclusively in the hopes that he might be able to find someone to fight, and test out his build on. After all the only way to know how good one was, was to just fight someone else, and see how it went. Also from what he gathered it was a good way to gain experience if you came out victorious. So as he wandered around aimlessly he stumbled across a bridge. There were two people who were in the middle of crossing it, and he smiled to himself.

"Oi! Hi there! You guys are in a PK zone!" he could barely contain his excitement as he spotted them. He knew nothing about them, but he didn't feel confident enough to try, and fight them both at once. It also appeared that they were transporting something across the bridge. "Hmmmm I wonder if that might be an escort quest...I could use this to my advantage..." a large grin spread across his features. "Hey if you can hear me, I have a request...I really want to duel someone. So if you one of you would be so kind as to face me in single combat I promise to not cut the bridge, and send you both plummeting down below." he stated the request in a very polite manner despite the threat present within it.

Though he wasn't bluffing...He was on the end of the bridge they needed to exit from, and his request wasn't unreasonable, a fair one on one fight. The worst case that happened was that he lost, and the best case scenario was that he won, and their partner got upset with him. Though perhaps they had some way to revive players before they respawned so they wouldn't have to trek all the way back to the city, and then come back. His entire body glimmered for a second as he used Rock Polish to increase his speed just in case he needed to get out of there quickly. While he felt confident in the fact that he could take them on one at a time, he didn't think he could take them both on at once yet...

"So what do you say? Will you have a duel with me?" the question reverberated through the air towards the strangers.

Amor waited patiently for an answer for someone who had just threatened them he wasn't actively trying to bully them, or make them decide fast. He was very patient, and that paid off in spades when a new opponent showed themselves. Though he was a bit confused at their tactics as they leaped onto the bridge that he had just said he would cut down if one of the other two didn't accept his challenge. It appeared that not everyone in this game held his penchant for strategy. Though it mattered little to him because the newcomer launched an attack at him. It rang true, and smashed directly into his chest, they would notice that he didn't even bother trying to block it. The buff status appeared on his HUD showcasing that his Stamina ability had activated increasing his Physical Defense, and one of his abilities lit up.

"You are not very clever are you..." he stated simply to the person, and grabbing his Katana which was glowing brightly he brought it down hard on the planks of the bridge. Using his Metal Burst skill he dealt 1.5x the damage he took from the previous attack to whatever he hit with it. The energy surged forth in a crescent arc ripping through the bridge, and towards his target of the woman that was now rushing at him. It was a twofold strike, of destroying the bridge, and attacking her at once. She of course could dodge, but then his attack would continue on to wreak havoc, and possibly hit the ones behind her.

He was wholly focused on his target when he noticed that she got some sort of buff, perplexed he wondered if she had a self buffing ability like he did. It could be problematic but only if the battle drew out for to long. Holding his katana level with his chest he waited to see her next move. Still unaware that the other two might get involved, his face lit up with excitement as he was finally experiencing something that he couldn't get in the real world.

"Well...You have guts...Let's see how far that gets you with me." he couldn't help but embrace his current character of being a bit villainous. It was a role he was familiar with...Perhaps he would embrace it in this world...Take on a villainous character that put on the facade of having a heart of gold. Some people would think he was kind, and others would know the cold hand of death at his blade. Now that was a character he could get behind.

Battle Breakdown: Amor tanked the Aura Sphere, and then used Metal Burst to send a crescent arc of energy out that is currently heading towards Emma, shredding through the bridge on it's way there. It will also deal 1.5x the damage that he took. His stamina ability also activated from being hit by Aura Sphere so he got a bit of a defense boost.

The bridge was quite literally rocking at this point from all the damage he had done to it, and it wouldn't take much longer for it to go down like a sack of rocks. The fact that they were all trying to fight him on it still was a bit concerning, but he just shrugged it off as them being crazy, or really wanting to keep that thing they were escorting safe. A brief sigh escaped his lips, but it was cut short as the one who had taken up his challenge charged at him after taking the hit from his Metal Burst, which was impressive. He didn't know what kind of ability she was using now, but at the same time she launched her attack the other two leaped in as well, with two attacks he was familiar with. He figured he could survive one super effective attack, but two? That was something he didn't want to test.

Though there were also three people attacking him when he clearly requested a one on one duel...That was rather rude, and as the two melee combatants closed in on him on the mangled remains of the bridge, and tried to hammer into his body they would be met face to face with a barrier that appeared in front of him. The Dazzling Gleam that the one in the back fired into his allies to get to him would also be rebuked. The Samurai didn't budge as he held his barrier with a smile. Holding his sword steady with his free hand he tilted his head questioningly to the side.

"You know I was content to let you other two leave as someone had answered my challenge...But alas...No one has a modicum of decency...And you are quite literally standing on your last legs since you let my previous attack tear up your footing...So last chance...Face me one on one...Or you all three plummet...Decide." The words came out coolly as he waited in anticipation a bit of boredom on his face. "Unless you two want to restart your mission from all the way back in the city..." he questioned the ones who had thrown the Ice Punch, and the Dazzling Gleam at him.

Though the two melee combatants had no doubt seen the debuff placed on them from hitting his shield physically. It was a nice trap for people like them. It also allowed him to keep his defensive edge for the most part, and so the Silver haired Samurai waited patiently for an answer to his question.

Battle Breakdown: Okay so it got ignored which is fine I guess, but Amor's Metal Burst ripped up the planks on the bridge before hitting Gray, so there technically should be nowhere to stand near him. But for the sake of plot, and me not wanting to retcon it, its fine. Also Amor is not on the bridge he is at the end of it guarding where you would get off it, just so position is clear...I don't know if the two people want to roll to defend from Dazzling Gleam or if there is Friendly Fire or what not, but the healer just became a team killer *snicker snicker*. At least to the one person who isn't in his party. Aside from that Amor erected his Kings Shield and didn't get hit by anything. Gray, and Aquatic will each have their Physical Attack reduced by 1 stage since their attacks made physical contact with his shield.
